I run open water group swim sessions on Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings at Lochore Meadows from spring to autumn. I have groups to suit most abilities.
On Tuesdays, there is a ' yellow buoy group' (swimming about 600m) for swimmers looking to increase distance and a 2km swim that goes 'round the island' twice.
On Sundays, you join the 'round the island' swim (about 1500m of swimming) or take part in the confidence group closer to the shore and in shallow water, and swim as much as you want.
Timings may vary depending on numbers, so get in touch for details. Group swims are generally £15 per person.
1-2-1 open-water sessions are available too and can be organised at a time that suits you.
These are great if you are new to open-water swimming, you are nervous about swimming in a group for your first swim outside, or perhaps you struggle to breathe when swimming.
If you'd like to do a long practice swim leading up to an event, 1-2-1's are perfect. I will be in the water with you if you are nervous or worried, and for longer swims I'll be alongside you in my kayak.
I run regular pool coaching sessions at Lochgelly High School Pool on Thursday nights and at Inverkeithing High School Pool on Friday nights. There are group sessions and 1-1 coaching sessions available. These sessions are amazing for developing technique and increasing your swim fitness in a friendly and social environment.
